I will write conversion-focused copy for your website

Most website copy describes the company. Copy that converts describes the reader's situation and then shows the way out of it. How I work: 1. I read what you have, look at your competitors, and ask for two or three customer quotes or sales call notes. Your customers' own words are the raw material. 2. I write the page structure first — what each section has to accomplish — and we agree on it before the sentences. 3. Then the copy: headline, subhead, sections, proof points, calls to action, microcopy for forms and buttons. 4. Two headline alternatives per page, because headlines are worth testing. What I deliver: a document mapped section by section to the page, so a developer or designer can place it without guessing. Where a section needs an image or a number you will have to provide, I mark it clearly rather than writing around the gap. I write in British or American English; tell me which, and whether there is a style guide I should follow.
