Skillance exists to connect people who need work done with the people who can genuinely do it. The hard part of freelancing was never finding talent; it is finding the right talent, running the process, and making both sides feel safe.
So we built the product around the order itself: packages are explicit, the delivery date is calculated, revisions are written down, and the payment is protected until the delivery is accepted.

How we got here
We opened in 2022 with a handful of freelancers and one rule: nobody works unpaid and nobody pays for work they have not seen. Everything since has been built around that — the escrow, the delivery clock, the dispute process, the levels that are earned rather than handed out.
66 freelancers now list 174 services here, and 9,508 orders have been delivered and accepted. Those numbers are counted live from our own records, not written into this page.

What we believe
The right match
We are not trying to sell every service to everyone. We make it easy to find the specialist who actually fits the job.
A safe process
Payment protection, clear delivery dates and every step on the record. No surprises.
A fair deal
Sellers get paid for their work, buyers know what they are buying, and our fee is stated up front.
How we make money
A service fee on completed orders, stated before you pay and shown as its own line at checkout. We take nothing from an order that is cancelled or refunded, we do not sell placement in search results, and we do not sell anybody's data. If a project goes wrong, our incentive is to resolve it rather than to keep the fee.
