Long-form editing is a structural job more than a technical one. The cut decides whether someone watches eight minutes or ninety seconds. What I handle: • Structure: finding the strongest order for what you recorded, and cutting what does not serve it • Pacing: silences, filler words and repeated takes removed without making it sound clipped • Graphics: lower thirds, on-screen text, simple animated explanations • Audio: levels, noise reduction, music bed mixed to sit under speech • Colour: consistent across the whole video, corrected for mixed lighting • Delivery extras: chapter markers, subtitle file, a thumbnail concept I keep a style guide for each returning client, so episode twelve looks like episode one without you re-explaining anything. Send me the raw files with your notes on anything that must stay or go. I will send a first cut for feedback before final polish, so revisions are cheap and early.
