I will design packaging that survives the printer

Packaging that looks lovely on screen and comes back from the printer wrong is not a design, it is a delay. I work to the printer's dieline from the start. If you do not have one, I will ask them for it — that one email saves most of the problems I get called in to fix. What is handled: • Structure: bleed, safety margins, folds, glue flaps, and how the artwork survives being folded • Colour: CMYK or spot, with a note on what will shift on your substrate • The legal panel — ingredients, nutrition, allergens, barcodes, recycling marks — laid out to be readable, not squeezed into the corner • Print-ready PDFs with the right profile, plus a flat mock-up for your team I will tell you when a printer's spec and your design ambitions do not fit together, before the plates are made.
