I will build a financial model and investor deck

Investors do not read a model to check your arithmetic. They read it to find out how you think about your business. The model: • Revenue built bottom-up from the drivers you actually control — traffic, conversion, price, retention — not a growth percentage typed into a cell • Cost structure separated into fixed and variable, with headcount planned by role and start date • Unit economics: customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, payback period, contribution margin • Cash flow and runway, month by month, with the month you run out clearly visible • Scenario switching between conservative, base and optimistic, driven by one cell rather than three spreadsheets Every assumption sits on its own clearly labelled sheet with a note on where the number came from. When an investor asks "why 3%?", you have an answer. The deck follows the model rather than decorating it: problem, solution, market, traction, business model, the numbers, team, ask. Ten to fifteen slides, because longer decks do not get read. I have built these for raises that succeeded and raises that did not. I will tell you where your numbers look weak before an investor does.
